Daniel Boddie was hired as a consultant to manage the construction of the 500,000 square foot distribution center for Carrier Corp.. The building incorporates a cross dock set up with 40 dock doors. The are over 250,000 square yards of concrete as well as 500,000 square feet of paved drive and outside storage areas.
The client was able to save money through VE as well as technological innovation. Daniel pioneered the use of drones in the construction realm through retrofitting drones with a camera in order to capture aerial imagery throughout the course of the project. This footage allowed the client to view job progress from Connecticut and not have to make as many trips to Texas.
